Useful Startups: CheckThis Offers Fast, Easy One-Page Website Creation

CheckThis.comI just stumbled upon an awesome new site called CheckThis that lets you create a webpage for anything so quickly and easily it’ll blow your mind. The end result is a little more than a tweet but not quite a full blog. You really need to see it for yourself to completely wrap your head around it.

Essentially, you can create a one-page website nearly instantly. Just add whatever content you might want, such as text, photos, videos, maps, sounds, tweets, etc… and click publish. No registration required and as soon as you hit publish you get a link to share. Now that’s easy–and fast! You can even integrate a poll, payment or contact form. I can think of so many uses for this, but here are a few ideas to get you started:

5 Situations Where CheckThis.com Will Be Useful to You

  1. Hiring someone? Give each job opening it’s very own page.
  2. Hosting an event? Post details and and map.
  3. Create a poll to gather feedback on a recent presentation–or–use the poll function to see how employees will react to proposed changes.
  4. You know that eBook you’ve been meaning to publish but didn’t have the time to market? Create a dedicated website and store in just a few minutes.
  5. Create a page to liquidate all of your old electronics in one fell swoop.
