For the past few days I’ve been testing a pre-launch beta version of Mint Market, a marketplace for mint condition, pre-owned items that have been purchased within the last 60 days. The free app, available for iPhone and Android devices, enables users to buy and sell goods to their immediate social network of friends, family, colleagues, and etc.
Mint Market is extremely straightforward and easy to use and I have to say I love the sleek design. Seriously, this app should win an award for it’s awesome, creative and easy-to-use interface which displays a variety of products across different categories instantly. An alerts feature makes it easy to track favorite products, sending out reminders whenever a certain item becomes listed in Mint Market database. Mint Market differentiates itself from other apps that let you buy/sell pre-owned items by offering a comfortable environment for both buyers and sellers.
One study finds that 33 million U.S. consumers already use smartphones for shopping activities. Shopping is only going to become more mobile-focused and Mint Market is providing consumers with an extremely easy way to shop and sell through their phones. The app’s target audience is very diverse, ranging from bargain shoppers to students to techies to moms. Mint Market innovates in a way that lets users sell or look for items to buy in no time at all. Another strength of the app that users will love is the ability to connect with specific social networks, including Facebook, around selling or buying an item.
A must-download, this is one app that can only get better and more useful as more users begin using it.
