A GoPro-Sized 4K Camera With Interchangeable Lenses?

What if you could add your favorite DSLR lenses to a 4K camera the size of a GoPro?

So the E1 Camera has absolutely blown past it’s Kickstarter funding goal of $42,000; it’s actually made over $300,000! People really want to get their hands on this camera — I know I do.

It’s a UHD — ultra HD — shooter that’s going to cost $700 and will be compatible with DSLR lenses from Panasonic and Olympus. In other words it’s the world’s smallest 4K UHD camera with an interchangeable lens system!

A couple bullet points that should get you pretty excited:

-It shoots cinema-quality 4K
-It’s got great low-light performance
-It’s got an advanced 3D noise filter reduce noise and jitter
-And it can shoot up to 6400 ISO

One feature I’m super excited about is the ability to leave the camera in standby mode and remotely power it up and then control it from an app.

What do I think about this camera? I’m blown away. The more I think about it the more I love the idea. It’s exactly what I’d want in a camera and I’m sure the big guys are going to come out with some challengers in the coming years. This is going to be big for YouTubers and other people wanting to get into 4K shooting who don’t have $10,000 to spare.
