While there are so many avenues of learning and staying informed these days, many of which are much newer and currently more popular than email is, there are times where there truly is nothing better than a good ol’ fashioned email newsletter subscription. Especially when managed/tamed with Unroll.me, a new favorite service of mine that is a, “free and easy way to end unwanted subscriptions and rollup the rest into an organized overview made just for you.”
Over the last few months I’ve received tips from various sources on which technology email newsletters were worth subscribing to. I’ve collected 3 of my favorite which I actually find useful and informative. Truth be told, I can’t say that I live or die by reading them, but when I am looking for something to spark the imagination or whet my appetite for new and great technology, these 3 technology newsletters always deliver. Do you know of any that I missed? If so, leave me a comment so I can check it out!
On a rather random side note, I have to give props to Freshbooks, the maker of a popular freelance invoicing system, for their Supper Club newsletter. When I used to be a freelance designer I used the excellent service and thus got their email newsletter and I have to say, it was really the only newsletter from a company that I actually wanted to read and even looked forward to. So, if you’re a freelancer, check it out.
