I like things that add a sense of style to my surroundings. That’s doubly true when it comes to my office. I’m a big believer that you’re work environment has a big impact on the work you’re able to get done.
And one of the most stylish accessories in my office this year is my Flote Orbit. It’s a tablet stand (in my case holding up an iPad) that epitomizes style. And I find myself looking at it and thinking, “Man, that’s cool!” more often than I’d like to admit.
But it’s not just a pretty looker. This thing is solid. No wait, I better rephrase. This thing is SOLID. It’s got some weight to it; some oomph. It doesn’t shrink into the background and try to disappear. You know it’s there (and you’re glad it is).
I get a dopamine rush everytime I snap the tablet holder onto the neck of the stand. SNAP! You don’t want to get you’re finger in the way… it’s a powerful connection. But the ball joint isn’t just fun to snap into place: it allows for a very full and fluid range of motion which means you’re tablet will be positioned exactly where you want it to be.
The one and only drawback of the Flote is the rubber grips on the tablet holder: they tend to get worn down a bit over time with regular use. Of course, you can always order replacements, but nobody really wants to do that.
I’ve owned (and reviewed) a Flote product before and I loved it equally as much. Flote it one awesome tablet stand manufacturer that really creates neat and desireable products.
