There’s no other app that’s quite as fun to browse as Instagram but posting to the service can be frustrating. There are two features that serious users have been demanding (if not publicly then in their head) for years: 1.) the ability to post from their computer and 2.) the ability to easily switch between multiple accounts. Grum just made both things possible. I’m pretty sure everyone on my list of the 150 Best Instagram Accounts of 2015 would be really excited about this service. But you won’t believe the other feature that is just the icing on the icing on the icing on the cake.
As if no longer having to wonder how to post to Instagram from your computer or how to easily switch between (manage) multiple Instagram accounts wasn’t cool enough, Grum also lets you schedule Instagram posts for the upcoming week. Yes, this service is magic. I hope every Instagram user in the world ends up finding Grum because it’s probably the coolest, most useful Instagram tool I’ve seen come along for years. And I’ve covered them all. Last year I released a list of the coolest Instagram tools called 20 Incredible New Ways to Enjoy Instagram Images as a follow up to 2012’s Instagram Insanity: 60+ Ways to Print, View and Share Instagram Photos.
If you couldn’t already tell, I love Instagram. I’ve got a “secret” account that posts nature and landscape photos from the midwest which is growing FAST. It’s an artistic outlet/hobby that I take seriously. But since that account is a side project, it’s easy to neglect (which is ironic/funny since that account has WAY, WAY more followers than the DailyTekk account). A service like Grum is exactly what I’ve been looking for and needing to help me manage both Instagram accounts.
To wrap this up I’ll also say that Grum would make a great addition to another Instagram resource article I wrote called How to Get Instagram Famous in 1 Simple List! There are a lot of things you can do to increase your visibility on Instagram and Grum can definitely help make hitting some of those goals and action items more realistic.
I don’t care who you are: if you’re just an “average” Insta user connecting with friends or an account manager for a major brand: Grum is going to be useful to you.
