Video Transcript: Hey it’s Chris from DailyTekk and this is whether or not the Apple Watch is a keeper in 60 seconds.
Yes, the Apple Watch tells time — duh — but it’s also designed to make tracking your health and communications quick and easy.
It also runs popular apps like Wunderlist, Lark, Runtastic and Foursquare.
People seem to love complaining about the Apple Watch: it’s expensive, apps run too slow and it lacks a killer feature.
Plus sales have dropped dramatically. But is it really all that bad?
After a month of use, the Apple Watch has helped me get fit and stay healthier, has helped me become more organized and has kept me more informed.
To me Apple Watch’s killer feature is messaging. Sending and receiving texts is super fast and seriously convenient.
Via notifications, the Watch keeps me connecting with things I care about — I rarely have time to watch sports games, but now I can keep up with how my favorite teams are doing.
If it weren’t for Watch Apps like WaterMinder, I’d be far less motivated to stay on top of healthy habits.
Bottom line? The Apple Watch isn’t a fun toy but it is a useful utility. I’ll be keeping mine. I’m positive it’s only going to get better in time.
