What do you enjoy most about your work and why?
Passion, freedom and meeting very talented people. Not a lot of jobs allow you to have these three things together. I wake up every morning and I know I will do amazing new things and meet awesome people and this is priceless!
Where does your entrepreneurial passion come from? What drives you, inspires you, excites you?
Something I really enjoy is traveling, because for me traveling is learning. We are moving to Chicago at the end of the month, and we will discover new startups, a new culture, new people. Everyday I learn new things and this is where my entrepreneurial passion comes from.
Someone reading this wants to start a tech company. What’s your best advice for them?
Talk to your users or your potential users. Truly understand that your real value is not your product, it’s the community that uses your product. Without users, you are nothing more than lines of codes. So go meet your community and listen!
What are a few tech startups that you’re really excited about right now and why?
I’m really excited about how Spotify is growing right now. It is very rare to see a european startup becoming a major actor.
What tech tools (websites, apps, gadgets, etc.) do you rely on both for work and in your down time?
Some of the well-known services I use at Pictarine are Evernote, Dropbox, Mailchimp and Balsamiq. I’m trying Trello to manage my tasks for few days now and I love it! In my spare time, I love to use Instagram and Spotify. Plus right now I’m using Pair with my girlfriend and I must admit that I really enjoy it.
