  • Your Desk

Notes swipe like to-dos on a phone: swipe a note right to pin it to the top (or unpin it), left to delete it with Undo, or a little way to show the button. The goal is now a slim line on Today instead of a bar on every tab, so Focus fits on small phones. Typing on a phone keeps the box fully in view above the keyboard, and the Your Desk logo takes you back to Today. Open it

  • Slap Shop

DT Posters is open: design an original art poster in seconds, see it on a real wall at true size, then get it printed. Nearly fifty styles, plus your word, your voice, your place, your sky, your route or a photo, and the Drive collection. Dot has one in the shop window. Open it

  • The Drop

Play in The Drop now opens the game itself, full screen, no walk through town first, and every arcade game has real screenshots. Games on your phone also wake back up properly after you switch apps. Open it

  • Insert Coin

Packet Loss is fairer and now has hints: after two tries on a level (or a minute with no upload) a Hint button appears. Tap it once for a tip, again to see where and when to use the key tool. Hints are free. Level 1-2 now says every packet needs its own float, and a dozen tight levels got more room or a spare tool.

  • The Drop

Meet The Drop, the DailyTekk store: every app, game, project and radio station in one place, with icons, screenshots, what's new and a Today page for the latest. The Games button on the start screen opens it, and the Tekk Town directory has it too. Everything is free. Open it

  • Your Desk

Your Desk ties together now: tap Link on a to-do, note, habit or goal to connect them, and the links show as small chips you tap to jump. A to-do can tick off a habit and count toward a goal, and focus sessions are logged on the to-do. New Goals section with key results, progress bars, due dates and a pinned goal in the goal bar, and Ideas is an idea hopper: Someday to Shipped, one-off or ongoing, with an archive. Open it

  • Insert Coin

Prize cards at the prize counter: trade your tickets for real looks in the Spec Sheet (the Pixel Dust Trail, the Pixel Burst Landing and the Backwards Cap). Still cosmetic only, never a power-up.

  • Tekk Town Park

Two new things to do in the park: skip stones at the pond's east shore (tap for power, tap for the angle) and fly a kite on the great lawn (hold to pull the line, let go to let it out, and don't snap it). Your best scores are kept.

  • The Spec Sheet

Every gadget, mod, HUD skin, trail and landing in the catalogue now has a Test run button: take it on a free run straight from the page and it comes back after.

  • Main Street

The street has a new order. Walk in under the arch and the Insert Coin arcade comes first, then the Daily Grind, Chris's house, the Specs shop and the cinema. On phones, room names and tap labels no longer hide under the buttons at the top.

  • Insert Coin

Cafe Rush is now a café card game for 2 to 4 at the board-game table. Roll the dice and every café card showing that number opens up and pays beans: Espresso Bars, Food Trucks, Bean Roasters, a Drive-Through and more. Win over Tekk Town regulars like Mr. Okafor, Jo and Biscuit for their perks, plan for the next rush hour, and be the first café to finish all four upgrades. Play the regulars, or pass the device round.

  • Insert Coin

New cabinet by the staff door: TRY TOWN, arcade rugby sevens. Run with the ball, pass it back (never forward), sidestep, tackle and kick your conversions in quick three-minute matches, then take Tekk Town through a five-round season against Pinecrest, Harbor Point, Copper Hill, Bramble Bay and Ironwood. Win a spot in the Grand Final and spend coach points on speed, hands, power, defense and kicking between matches. A short tutorial shows you how.

  • Insert Coin

Tekk Town Tycoon has a twist of its own: the Hype Train. A little tram loops the town, and at the end of every round it stops somewhere new. Whatever you own beside that stop rushes out free goods and their price jumps, and the next three stops are always on the map. The town grows too: downtown is fenced off at first and opens a few rounds in.

  • Chris's house

Three new rooms: the home office upstairs (off the attic) with a holo table, the den off the Archive with a long table for board games and a home gym, and the garage bay with the electric SUV, a light cube you can set patterns on, generative art screens and Richard's coffee roaster. Plus Sterling the robot butler, the Ireland trip photos on the fridge, and HEY, WHERE'S CHRIS?, a ten-page illustrated picture book on the coffee table: find Chris and five hidden things on every busy Tekk Town page.

  • Chris's house

The studio got the shiplap wall (free for everyone), lights on both sides of the set, an ON AIR sign that lights up when you're on your mark, a teleprompter, and lots of little truths to walk up to: the cable drawer, the ring light box, the thumbnail mirror, batteries stuck at 40 percent and forty gadget boxes.

  • Insert Coin

Reel Rescue got a clearer look: on the cabinet the level is twice as big and follows Chris (hold V to see the whole level), the reels are gold film cans with one can per reel along the top, bots sweep flashlights so you can see where they look, and every hole you dig shows how long until it fills back in.

  • Insert Coin

Orbit is rebuilt: defend the planet's satellites from waves of spam bots in one of six tech-shaped ships (Quad Drone, Cartridge, Big Dish, Floppy, Router, Controller), each with its own power. Grab Triple Shot, Shield, Magnet and Slow-Mo capsules, and watch out for MEGA SPAM every fifth wave. A quick tutorial and phone controls are built in.

  • Tekk Town

Everyone in town talks American now (the rugby pub crowd keeps its own voice), and back at Insert Coin Chris sometimes remembers the classic arcade bits: quarters on the glass, continue screens, four thousand tickets for an eraser.

  • Insert Coin

Air Hockey has hot streaks: two goals in a row heats you up, three sets you on fire (a fire trail, harder shots and a bonus ticket for every goal on fire), and five makes you unstoppable with a bigger mallet. Let one in and the fire goes out.

  • The run

On phones the run zooms in once you're past the start line, so Chris and the blocks are bigger and the level fills the screen.

  • Insert Coin

The quick, fun games are by the door now: Mod Queue front and centre, Firewall right beside it. Every walkway is wide enough to walk through, and Lumen moved to the back corner while it gets rebuilt.

  • DailyTekk

There's a What's new page, and a little dot in the menu when something changes. Open it

  • The Inklings

Commonplace is open: keep lines from books, talks and videos with your own notes. One comes back each day. Open it

  • Your Desk

Type / in a note for headings, lists, checklists and the date. A goal bar keeps your one big goal in view.

  • The Slap Shop

The wallpaper maker has its own page now, and so does the radio, so a reload keeps you right where you were.

  • Your Desk

Notes work like a normal notes app: real bold, headings and checklists. Markdown is a switch, if you like it.

  • Your Desk

Attach a note to any to-do with the paperclip, and keep project ideas on the new Ideas board.

  • All over town

The dog, the cat, the fountain, the trash can and the gadgets in Chris's house have new things to do every day. The fountain even gives real tips.

  • The Daily Grind

The espresso bar now shows the menu and today's special. Sit down to pick the music.

  • Main Street

The news kiosk prints the Tekk Town Times every morning.

  • All over town

Everyone in town has something new to say every day.

  • The start screen

A new billboard by the Start button, and speech bubbles you can actually read.

  • The run

Every ▶ block shows a little picture of what's inside, and the videos in the run change daily.

  • Your Desk

Editing a to-do on a phone keeps it full width. Press / to search your notes.

  • Your Desk

Pick the four tabs you use most for the phone's bottom bar.

  • Insert Coin

Fairer claw machine payouts, and Snake is gone. Long live the high score.
